Room Rates:

  • Queen rooms are $300 per night. Weekends and school holidays have a minimum 2 night stay policy. This price is for two adults sharing a room. Each extra person $80 per night

  • ‘Kids’ room is $240 per night ( a room with 3 king single beds and no ensuite requiring these guests to share bathrooms with parents/family.

  • Whole house access to kitchen can also be booked $1500 per night for up to 10 guests. Extra guests are $80 per night per person (no set limit on numbers please contact me)

  • Minimum two night stay on weekends and school holiday periods

All rates include:

  • complimentary continental breakfast

  • access to the kitchen and bbq (shared if not a whole house booking)

Reservation Policy

  • You must be 18 years old to book a room requests

  • To reserve a room must include the first and last name of all adults occupying the room

  • We aim to keep room rates fair, they are subject to change

  • All rooms are subject to a 10% GST which is inclusive in room rate

  • Group trips are fun! When booking, keep maximum occupancy rules in mind. If you wish to have extras you MUST consult with myself

Payment

  • Full payment is due (50% non refundable) at time of booking (including COVID lockdown) Change of date outside school holidays and weekends is permitted

  • Change of date must occur 30 days prior to checkin date

  • Cancellation under 14 days will result in full amount being charged


Checkin/checkout

  • Checkin is 3pm

  • early checkin can be negotiated prior to booking via email

  • Checkout is 10am

  • Late checkout can be negotiated prior to booking via email

Travelling with minors

  • Minors must be supervised at all times and are not permitted in pool area without adult supervision

Damages

  • During your stay, all equipment and furniture should be treated with care and kept in order. Immediate notification to staff will be expected of any damages or breakages in the home.You (The Tenant) is financially responsible for any damage to the apartment. This includes losses caused by you (The Tenant) or a third party negligent actions and behaviour. A summary check will be made of the house/room at check-out time. However, a more detailed review of the condition of the house/room and all equipment and facilities will be made soon after check-out and before another guest occupies the house/room.

  • The Tenant is responsible for any damages or breakages found that are over and above normal wear and tear and usage. In this case, a detailed statement of damage along with an invoice for the repair or replacement cost will be sent by email immediately. Any costs will be claimed by owners.

  • Please note, immediate notification after check-out of any damages to, breakages in or issues with the apartment is expected.

  • Mckeown's Rest can then take any necessary action to resolve any issues and make sure all the equipment and facilities are working and provided as expected.

  • Credit card details will be taken in case of breakages.

Smoking Policy

  • Breathe easy Mckeown's Rest is a non-smoking property.

  • This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name.

Pet Friendly

  • Are we pet friendly? Yes! A maximum of two pets are allowed per room. Just make sure your furry friends do their business in the designated area and stay on a leash when outside the room. No rogue poppers and, sorry … no pets in the kitchen or pool areas (that’s the health department’s call and we’ve gotta heed their rules).

  • Pets left unattended in rooms are at own risk.

  • While there is absolutely no pet fee. Should your furry friend shed a great amount or have a potty accident in the room, a cleaning fee will be charged.

  • Should your pet cause property or item damage, an incidental fee will be charged at market value to your credit card on file.

Kitchen/BBQ

  • It is a shared space unless whole house is booked. It is expected that guests leave this space clean and tidy

  • practice safe cooking habits do not leave burners on unattended

Parking 

  • There is ample parking.

  • By parking a vehicle at our facility, you (and your guests) are doing so on your own accord.

  • We do not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property.

  • Parking for guests is signposted (do not park on the grass)

Guest safety

  • Please remember this is a working farm and there are various hazards such as machinery and stock

  • Please ensure that all gates opened are closed

  • Do not start fires outside fire rings/pits

  • Be aware of electric fences
